But talking to the other travelers on board; the non-divers we found out that they also were very impressed by the Antarctic. When we went diving they went on landbased tours to see the birds, penguins and seals. And they cruised a lot around the most beautifull ice bergs in the world. And for sure these ice-bergs are not only beautifull under water.

Around the world there is a lot of discussion about tourism on the Antarctic. Many people are sure that visiting the area to much will harm it. Still other people think it’s good to let people experience the beauty of this last found continent. We must say we agree with last. It is really good to be impressed by the beauty of the area. It gives you a better understanding about the fragileness of nature and the need to protect it. With the IAATO regulating traveling activities and giving out instructions to all visitors it must be possible to preserve this area longer.
